Joyeux Noël

When in Rome, or France as the case may be... Christmas was celebrated last night with a long dinner with lots of family and friends. The menu consisted of oysters, fois gras, salmon, nems, salads, special cold cuts, cheeses, wonderful bread, cakes and more chocolate than a person should eat in a month. There were traditional carols and less traditional foodball tournement. On Christmas day we drove up high in the Alps for a snowshoe hike. Most of all it was a time to enjoy each others' company. How I hope we can carry some of the love of the season with us throughout the year.
